Shipping/Pickup/Delivery

My studio is in California and presently I just ship to the United States. I use a $5/pot flat rate charge. If my actual shipping charge costs are less than your flat rate, I will refund the difference if it is more than $2.  Ceramics need to be packed well and require sturdy and durable materials. I use both new and recycled materials to keep costs down and to be be eco friendly.
I aim to ship within 3 days of purchase and USPS Priority Mail, which is what I use, usually takes 3-5 days for delivery.

I will notify you by email when I ship your item.

I also offer free pick up as a check out option.  I can deliver your purchase locally within 10 miles for $5 fee (purchases >$75 have free delivery)  My studio is 7 miles east of downtown off the 94.

Care Instructions

Each of my items is unique and handmade by me so my process marks will show and occasionally small iron marks or pinholes in the clay or glaze will occur. This is all part of the process.

My pots are intended for use and enjoyment. All of my work is food safe, microwavable and dishwasher safe. Handmade pottery can need a little more care to prolong its life, more so than commercial ware. Hand washing is not necessary but may prevent any dulling caused by harsh dishwasher detergent.

Avoid potential cracking by thermal shock caused by taking a pot from cold temperature to hot or visa versa too quickly.  Hand made pottery is quite durable but can be damaged by being knocked or dropped. Often flaws caused by this impact will not be detectable immediately but can develop into a crack or break with use over time.

I cannot replace ware damaged from use.
